For 50 years, we have been celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8th! That is why it is worth taking advantage of every opportunity to learn more about the culture and history of other countries and the women living in them.

During the meeting “Women’s Day in Picturesque Corners of the World” you will be able to learn many interesting facts and take souvenir photos in beautiful traditional costumes from India, China, Brazil and Africa. Those interested can also have fun in the 360-degree photo booth!

We invite you on Saturday, March 8th from 11:00 to 18:00!

On Women’s Day, the passage of our Shopping Centre will be filled with fabulously colourful scenography, which will allow you to go on a symbolic journey to picturesque lands. This is an unconventional idea for celebrating Women’s Day and learning about the history of distant places in the world and the women living in them.

You will be able to go to India, where you will be delighted by the view of the Taj Mahal – a beautiful building, which was ordered to be built by the Mughal ruler, Shah Jahan, in honor of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Maha. In the scenery reminiscent of the luxurious interiors of the palace of the Indian ruler, in the company of Aladdin, you will be able to take a photo in a real sari. The on-site animator will help you put on this traditional Indian costume and will make an Indian tattoo for adults and children who are interested.

A lot of emotions will also be provided by the stand inspired by the interiors of the Chinese imperial palace with a view of the mountainsides and one of the greatest monuments of China – the Great Wall. Here you will also be able to try on historical costumes and take a souvenir photo against the background of another important Chinese monument – the Terracotta Army.

There will be no shortage of suggestions for lovers of Africa. In the scenery inspired by the culture of African tribes, there are plenty of attractions waiting for you. You will be able to learn what role women play in the Masai, Tuareg or Zulu tribes. For those who want to take a souvenir photo, there are various sceneries – the Simba and Masai village, a Tuareg figure and props – Zulu shields and spears, as well as African costumes. A challenge awaits those willing – you will be able to play traditional percussion instruments – djembe and kangaba.

Brazil is associated with great coffee, tropical climate and a boisterous carnival. This year, carnival ends on March 4th , but we invite everyone who would like to reminisce to the Brazilian stand during our Saturday meeting! A lot of emotions are guaranteed!

We invite you to celebrate Women’s Day together!
