Ecological workshops for Grandparents’ Day

Celebrate Grandma’s and Grandpa’s Day in the eco spirit! January 20 at from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. we invite you to ecological workshops for children, during which they will expand their knowledge about smog and environmental protection. The program includes, among others: interactive workshops about smog. Free entrance.

Clean air matters, especially in winter. During the event, we will tell you what pollutants appear in the atmosphere and explain what smog is, where it comes from and how it affects our health. We will also tell you how to limit this negative phenomenon.

Event participants will expand their knowledge and certainly will not be bored! The “smog laboratory” will host colourful shows and experiments with smog, as well as air quality measurements. Children will become familiar with the operation of the smog calculator, which will indicate, among others: how many harmful substances are in the air and how much of them reaches our lungs. Phenomena and chemical processes occurring in the atmosphere will be explained in an interesting and understandable way that will appeal to the imagination and encourage participants to change their habits.

We have prepared a surprise for all event participants. Grandchildren will be able to prepare a calendar for 2024, which they will give to their grandparents as a gift. There will also be a chance to create other wonderful gifts yourself. During creative workshops, you will be able to make scented bags for the wardrobe, felt necklaces, cards, cards, bookmarks, colourful key chains and fridge magnets.
Competition!
